Pody Network currently offers two methods to access the platform, based on your preference and convenience: Log In with Pody ID or Log In as an Anonymous User.
Log In with Pody Passport
This method allows you to log in using your Pody Passport, which is unique to your wallet. It provides a seamless and secure way to access Pody:
- Click the "Connect Wallet" button. (If wallet is connected skip to step 3)
- Select your preferred wallet (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.) from the available options and approve.
- Once connected click on the "Login" Button, you will be securely logged into the platform, using your Pody Passport as your unique identifier.
Log In as an Anonymous User
This option allows you to access Pody without Minting a Pody Passport or Connecting OC ID. Here's how it works:
- Click on the "Continue as Anonymous" button.
- A temporary and unique Pody ID will be generated for you.
- This Pody ID will be used to track your session during your time on the platform.
Note: Any data or actions associated with this login will not be linked to your identity and may be lost if you log out or clear your browser data.
FAQs
Can I switch between login methods?
Yes, but your data will not carry over between methods. For example, points earned during an anonymous session will not carry over when logging in with a Pody ID.
Do I need a specific wallet to log in with Wallet Connection?
No, we support a wide range of popular EVM wallets, including MetaMask and WalletConnect. Choose the one that best suits your needs.
Is it safe to log in with my wallet?
Yes, as long as you take standard security measures. Always verify that you are connecting to our official platform and never share your wallet's private keys or seed phrases.
What happens to my session if I clear my browser data during an anonymous login?
Clearing your browser data will remove your current session and any information linked to your temporary user ID, which will result in the loss of access to that session's data.
Can I access all platform features with an anonymous login?
No, some features, such as creating or scheduling Classroom, earning and minting points, and also sending and receiving gifts, as well as referrals, are not available.
Pody Network is a decentralized platform built for virtual classrooms, offering interactive environments for education. Users engage in real-time learning while earning rewards for active participation.
Students on Pody Network earn rewards based on the time they spend in virtual classrooms. Points are calculated using a hash rate per second system — the longer you stay in a session, the more points you accumulate. Final points are computed once the session ends or when you leave the classroom.
Teachers (hosts) earn an additional 10% of the total points accumulated by all participants in their classrooms. This bonus is awarded at the end of the session or upon participants' exit, incentivizing active hosting and engagement.
Users can further boost their point-earning potential by minting additional NFTs directly from the NFT section on their dashboard.
