Yes. Anyone can open an account, browse the catalogue, and buy any device outright at market price. Buy Now, Pay Later is the one feature reserved for verified students.
Any enrolled student at a recognised institution with a partnership with Pody. You will need to verify your student status and complete KYC.
It is the payment method you choose at checkout to split a purchase into instalments, much like picking a card or Apple Pay or Google Pay. It is not a separate app verified students simply see it alongside the other payment options.
Open the Finance tab and tap “Top up”. You can either transfer to the dedicated account number generated for your account, or pay instantly in-app through Flutterwave. Both credit the same balance.
Up to ₦1,000,000, depending on your Pody Credit Score which is driven by your academic standing and your repayment record on the platform.
By raising your Pody Credit Score, which runs from 0 to 1000 and drives your limit. Pay every instalment on time, finish your first plan in full, and keep your academic records current. There is no application form, and support cannot raise a limit on request.
No. You can hold one active instalment plan. Finish it before starting another.
From 20% of the order total. You can always choose to pay more upfront, which lowers each instalment.
You choose a tenure of 1, 3, 6, 9, or 12 months at checkout, and whether to repay daily, weekly, or monthly.
No. We don't charge interest on your instalments. You pay the market price of the device, split across your schedule.
We will notify you and work with you to find a solution. Consistently missed payments, however, lower your credit score and may affect your future access to the platform.
Yes, at any time and without a penalty. Early repayment is a positive signal for your Pody Credit Score.

Yes, within the return window stated in your BNPL agreement, if the device is defective, damaged on arrival, or not what you ordered. Items must be in original condition with packaging and accessories included.
Open Profile, then Security, then PIN, and choose to reset it. We email you a one-time code to confirm the change. Support will never ask you for your PIN.
